CCL recycle end-of-life equipment for many of the world largest computer and telecom manufacturers. Obviously PCB design and the components must be protected against theft and other criminal practices. CCL offer integrity and accountability at every level, complemented by on-site security guards and state-of-the-art alarm monitoring.
In order to maximise the return for their clients, equipment and assembled components are examined for second-user value. This information is passed to the client, who will either authorise CCL to realise the value, or will request they recycle for purely precious metal value.

Component Reclamation
|
|
Product is only removed from boards with the express authority of the client; proprietary components are automatically destroyed. CCL component recycling service has also been utilised by many clients wishing to reuse certain components in their own manufacturing / repairs operations. Considerable investment in machinery, process equipment and training has ensured that components are removed from the PCBs without lead or heat damage. All components are cleaned, re-tinned and given final inspection before being repackaged into industry standard tubes, trays or reels. Once the IC's are removed, the boards are then crushed and refined to remove the gold, copper and other precious metals, thus further reducing solid waste to less than 5% of its original volume; an additional financial return is achieved by this process. Clients are always welcome to observe or audit any part, or all, of the process.
